Sintered mullite is made from local excellent rotary kiln bauxite by sintering in rotary kiln with the high temperature about 1600℃. Its color is gray-black. The sintered mullite is mainly used for the refractory industry, such as production for mullite bricks,mullite-cordierite ceramic products.
